By-Laws Error and Update

It was brought to our attention that there may have been an error with the By-Laws as they are posted on the website. Upon further investigation, we have determined that there was an error during the last By-Law update in 2008, which incorrectly removed section 14.02-14.04. At no time was there a vote of the Membership to remove that provision from the By-Laws. On behalf of the NAGVA Board of Directors, we deeply apologize for the error. Moving forward, as a matter of policy, we will be notifying the Membership every January 1 of important dates for the remainder of each season (e.g. Championships payment deadlines, Rules/By-Law amendment deadlines). We recognize this omission has caused issues for Members and we are striving to come up with ways that we can disseminate important information and enhance the Member experience.
