To put it simply, Jake Kenworthy has history with the city of Grand Rapids.  After growing up at Grand Rapids Christian schools, Jake decided to start his real estate career while attending Grand Valley State University.  It started as a  part time job, helping clients buy and sell homes around his class schedule. This routine  groomed Jake well for what would later become a full time career that has no set schedule.

 

Jake is known for being available to his client’s 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with the exception of Sunday mornings when he’ll be cooking breakfast for the family and off to church.  Jake is exceptional at  tailoring his services to each client’s needs, and uses the latest technology to provide clients the most convenient service and up to date information.  Jake has strong negotiation skills helping him formulate and execute deals that are mutually beneficial to buyers and sellers alike.

 

Jake has experience in all aspects of the industry.  This includes condominium properties, managing, marketing and selling foreclosure properties for Fannie Mae, and of course single family homes. He can answer questions about renovations and new construction, too, from his experience building and servicing custom executive homes.  Don’t let his age fool you!  Jake’s background in Hospitality from Grand Valley State University left him with the appetite to meet new clients every day and savor the relationships he develops with them while helping them transition into the next chapter of their lives.

 

When Jake is not working, he is a lover of the outdoors no matter the season.  Over the summer you’ll find him out flying, sailing, playing tennis or golfing with family and friends, or lounging by the pool.  Wintertime is filled with skiing, indoor soccer, reading or planning a fun vacation.  Jake is a Fellow of the Cook Leadership Academy, and he currently volunteers with the American Diabetes Association’s Father of the Year Awards, and is always looking for new and different opportunities to be involved in his community.
