ABOUT AASMOCA

The Alamo Area School Maintenance Operations and Construction Association or AASMOCA is an affiliate of the Texas Association of School Business Officials.
 
AASMOCA’s aims and objectives are to:
 
  • Improve communications between local state and national agencies with special emphasis concerning regulations, codes and laws and their standardization.
 
  • Establish and promulgate the highest standards of ethics and efficiency in school maintenance, operations and construction methods and practices.
 
  • Study, analyze and disseminate efficient methods and practices in all matters pertaining to administration of school maintenance, operations and construction.
 
  • Study comprehensive and progressive school maintenance, operations and construction procedures and methods so as to establish, as far as possible, efficient standards.
 
  • Adopt orderly and efficient systems for purchasing, storage, distribution and accounting of school maintenance, operations and construction supplies and equipment.
 
  • Cooperate and/or affiliate with various other school related professional organizations.
 
  • Establish, as far as possible, combined training in all aspects of school maintenance, operations and construction.
