I started boxing in 1980 at the age of 7. It’s a funny story how I started boxing. My mom made me go to a boxing gym because I was small and I was getting picked on by kids at school. My first boxing match was at the age of 7. It was only an exhibition because the legal age to compete was 8. I loved it from day one and grew to love the sport of boxing over the years. I’ve travelled all over the country because of boxing. I also represented Michigan in the National Golden Gloves in 1993 where I met the pound for pound Champion and PPV king Floyd Mayweather JR in Little Rock, Arkansas. I ended up having over 100 amateur fights before turning pro. I have had 25 professional fights throughout my career. My last boxing match was at the Palace of Auburn Hills in 2012. Boxing has been my passion and a very big part of my life.
